Malagasy Astronomy & Space Science (MASS) is the International Astronomical Union (IAU) adhering organization of Madagascar since August 2018. The IAU ...

MASS is mainly a community of young professional astronomers and graduate students from Madagascar. It is a non-profit organization founded in September 2016 and officially registered in October 2017. With a slogan "The Universe, our playground", the creation of MASS stems for the need to promote Astronomy in the Red Island given the participation of the country to the gigantic radio astronomy SKA project and the African VLBI Netowrk (AVN).
